Flared Ice Tea

Drinkware & Stemware

Item Number:  65
Height:  5¼″
Production Dates:  1915-1982

Fostoria | American | Flared Ice Tea and PlateThere are a variety of “Ice Tea” glasses in the Fostoria American pattern. Some of the glasses are footed and/or flared. Most versions of the Ice Tea glasses hold approximately 12 oz., so the real differences between them can be found in their design and shape. The Ice Tea – Flared – is very similar to the Flared Table Tumbler; however, the Ice Tea glass is larger in size.

The 12 oz. Ice Tea – Flared – has a height of approximately 5¼ – 5½”.  It has flared sides and does not have a foot. This particular Ice Tea was one of the first pieces to be introduced into the American pattern in 1915 and was produced continuously throughout 1982.

When the Flared Ice Tea is paired with the vintage Ice Tea Plate, it is a beautiful combination.  When you want to make a gracious impression while serving tea (or with any other beverage), the Flared Ice Tea will not disappoint.  Simply put, it is a beautiful piece of glass.

Storage Boxes

To help prevent damage to our beloved American items, and to allow for easy identification, I like to use storage boxes.  A variety of boxes are available, and some of them have windows which will allow you to quickly see the contents of the box.  I also like identify each box with the item’s identification number.  I no longer have to worry about the safety of my glassware.  They are easy to access, and the attractive boxes keep my pantry very organized!  ♥
