Of all the ice tubs or buckets that were produced in the American pattern, this is the only one that came with a metal handle. The handle can be removed for easy cleaning. Fostoria Glass also sold metal tongs that matched the style of the handle, and these pieces were often paired together. The Ice Tongs; however, were sold separately – Item 971.
